Survey Conclusion

After surveying around 100+ people from at least 2 separate age brackets, falling under the upper middle class and middle class economic segment, there are a number of things we can conclude from this survey.

  • People almost always tend to eat out in Fine Diners, Resto Bars and Fast Food Restaurants.
  • People mostly face problems with slow service and waiting for waiters and tables.
  • A ample number of people experience issues with bill splitting and confusion while deciding what to order.
  • A considerable number experience uncomfort with the disorderly/unappetizing menu cards and orders getting messed up by waiters.
  • A majority of the people are aware about digital menu cards but a surprising number of them aren't.
  • If given a choice, a whooping 70% of them seem to prefer a digital menu with additional features over the traditional, authentic ones.
  • More than half of them are willing to download an app to access the menu.
  • With free wifi being offered, most of the remaining half also comply to the idea of downloading the app.
  • It can be observed that most people only make table reservations sometimes, but 75% of them want to have the option of making reservations and checking availability online.
  • 80% of the respondents admit that a better restaurant experience will change their willingness and frequency of eating out.
The plan is to find a solution that addresses as many of these problems as possible in the most efficient and customer friendly way.
